BLUER THAN BLUE...

At first, I wasn’t excited because two days before the prom, I do not have anything to wear yet. With a blink of an eye, I remembered my Granny Joan, who was once known for her beautiful gowns. So, we went to her boutique where I found there the most beautiful gown ever! A gown which is actually bluer than blue! At first my mom was hesitant but at the end she wanted it, too!

After different preparations so that I’ll look presentable, I went to school. It was then when I felt that unexplainable nervousness. I was in the middle of the way walking, I was in my whole poise and projection when I suddenly stamped at my gown!. I was fortunate since I was able to balance myself.

After more than five hours of feeling like a princess on a fairy tail – the prom finally ended!!!

Last but Isn't the Least...

• It was in the year 2004 when I first entered this school – Ilocos Sur National High School.
  
  “Time flies so fast,” a famous line from our adviser and second mother – Ma’am Alegre.
  
  Four years of hardship, fun, effort, love and friendship. I will never forget all the memories that I shared with my classmates and friends. A month more to go and I will already be leaving the school that has once tested my confidence, patience and bravery.
  
  But, they say, every end is always the start of a new beginning. After four years of hardship on high school, we will be more than enough ready to face a new chapter – a new race of our lives.
  
  I hope that all the things that I had learned in my high school life will always be a part of the future learning that I will face on my college life. I will value them all!!!

New Life on New Year???

Right after our second PT, we continued our lessons and activities in our TLE where I learned how to link an HTML activity. We made our WEB DESIGN- which was entitled "THe World of Mobile Phones". Here, we focused on the new developments on mobile phones, we featured the newest and latest mobile phones and of course the biography of the inventor of mobile phone.

Christmas is fast approaching! People of all folks of life are very busy. We, likewise decorated our house with colorful christmas decorations. We also played christmas songs in our radio casette and CD player. We ambushed our ninongs and ninangs for our gifts. We went house to house to carol. We lighted fireworks during tne Christmas Eve.

Dec. 21 is one of the most unforgettable date ever in my life in the year 2007. Christmas Program??? New clothes? New shoes? I am so happy since we(Suzette, Katreen and I) reconciled.

Well, the journey continues even 2007 has ended. We are to enter again another chapter of our lives...

In this quarter, we tackled many things all about HTML. HTML here and there, HTML everywhere...

This very same quarter and lesson, I learned how big the role of HTML tags are, in the field of Internet. I learned how hard they make this different kinds of HTML Tags.

In our activities, I faced many problems and was also hard up with some. But with the help of our teacher Ma'am Vera Cruz, I was able tro overcome 'em...

Well with this, I say, second quarter-you are...Five..four...three.two...one..

GAME OVER!!!

Second Quarter...Here we come!!!

• First Quarter is over...
• Surprisingly, I got 92 in our Periodical Exam in TLE! It's not that I'm boasting it(because there were more who got higher than I got), it's just a great achievement(you know!).
• Right after our Periodical Exam, Mrs. Vera Cruz, our TLE IV subject teacher, taught us about different tags, HTML Editors, Mark up Tags, HTML File Page Addresses, Mark up tags and the Web Standards...
• Last September 3, we made our first activity which was about the Basic HTML Tags. It was a hard time for me to type the content of the activity because my eyes even cross(heheh...I mean cross-eyed!) for the reason that the font size of the activity sheet was kinda small...(well I may not be far sighted, near sighted or what! Am I???). So all I did is to simply give my best to accomplish the latter...
• September 10, we made our second activity which was easier than that of our first activity. I can say that it is easier because it has lesser content and it took a lesser time for me to accomplish it. Mrs. Vera Cruz, insturcted us to make a draft of our third post for our BLOG...(ito yun! heheh).

Three Hundred and Thirty Six Hours...

• For the past three hundred and thirty six hours, I can say that many things had happened...
• Last July 16-17, we had our two-day seminar at the AVR, sponsored by the Philippine National Red Cross(PNRC), which was attended by some 50 CAT Officers...
• July 19-20, as a part of the Nutrition Month Celebration, we had participated the Food Festival. Our group composed of Jamaica, Emerald, Ruth, Paul, Stella, Suzette, Katreen and I decided to sell MIKI...(delicious! huh?!)
• Next, in our TLE class, we had tackled about BLOG...BLOG...BLOG and BLOG...:)...There we had created our own accounts where we can post our daily blog(is it not weird?), pictures and a whole lot more...(exciting, right?)...Considering the time for editing it, it wasn't enough at all! Considering also my ability, well I am not yet that expert in doing such...
• ...Entrance test for UP is near...weeeeeeh! I'm excited...hahah! I want to pass the examination but I don't think I can! (well, I wasn't born like Einstein, Newton or whoever, who has super duper high levels of IQ!!! I wish I was in line with them...hahah! Aza?!) Goodluck to me...I'll just do my best, even though I will not make it, at least I've tried! (Defense Mechanism???)
• One thing more, last July 28, we attended an UPCAT review at tha University of northern Philippines. It was fun...heHeh! (frankly it was quite boring...:(...)

My First Blog...

1. What are the new learnings/discoveries that I have learned?

*Since we had started our lesson on TLE IV, I had learned many things about the internet. I have learned on easier or faster way on mining the net by using specific search terms. I have also learned about internet services and tools such as e-mail, newsgroups, etc. i have also learned how web servers and browsers work together, and on could one find a website. I have also learned about data types which includes text and graphic files and multimedia. Another is using search engines wherein it could be through a type inbox and by selecting choices off of a directory structure, and many more...

2. What are the problems/challenges that I have encountered?

*During our activity entitled Mining the Internet, it was a hard time for me together with my groupmate Raymart, to search for the answers because i am not yet expert in applying search terms and the given time limit was not enough.

3. How did I addressed these challenges?

*I just tried and tried and tried until I died! I mean, I just tried and tried and tried until i was used to it!!! Having a short period of time given to surf, I learned we should not consume a very long period of time in one question.

4. Moving on I will...

*Moving on I will try my best to face every challenge that I'll encounter particularly on this topic. I really love surfing the net. I am a little bit hard up but I love this subject!
